I stopped looking for the perfect flight to learn to hold myself together. There remains a void I have decided to inhabit. The blue wire is my new heartbeat, the weave that gathers the pieces of my world and transforms the tear into a bridge. It is no longer a wing to flee, but the bond that allows me to stay. It is the courage to be fragile and, despite everything, whole.
